We're building Argie's Choice with care from the start.
Argie's Choice began with Argus and the search for something we felt good serving our own dog. That experience inspired the brand we're now building carefully, from the first recipe to the sourcing, manufacturing, and partnerships required to bring it to life.
Why Argie's Choice
It started with Argus.
Argus has always been a picky eater. After trying different feeding options and still feeling like we had not found the right fit for him, Kolby began preparing his meals herself. That experience changed the way we thought about feeding our own dogs and eventually sparked the idea for Argie's Choice.
Today, we're building Argie's Choice around a simple standard: develop food we would genuinely feel good serving our own dogs, and do the careful work required before we ever ask other dog owners to serve it to theirs.
Argus is the reason behind the name and the reminder that this brand starts with the dog.

We're actively developing and refining our first dog food formula, bringing together canine nutrition requirements, ingredient choices, product quality, manufacturing realities, and the everyday feeding experience. We're taking the time to get the first recipe right before we think about expanding the lineup.
Argus has an important role too: enthusiastically sampling some of our early recipe prototypes along the way.
